HEATH-PITTMAN-SMITH
Dear Family,
History repeats itself; South Carolina is where it all got started. The family first appeared in South Carolina, where they were brought over on slave ships, somewhere around 1839. They were then purchased by one of the four well-known Heath brothers. Charleston is known as the place “where history lives” and endowed with a reverence for the past.
Join us for our 45th annual reunion.
Hopefully everyone is doing well and excited about our approaching reunion. Many have responded to the last communication and others have been in touch with committee members. At this point in the reunion timeline, the most important things that need your attention are
1.) Your response, to let us know if you are attending this year’s reunion.
2.) Pay your dues, or complete current payments.
We urge you if you have not done so, to please let us know if you plan to attend the reunion. If you have already decided to attend we ask that you pay your dues/fees. There are deposits and fees associated with holding the facilities we need for the reunion, and cost for food and supplies for the reception and cookout.
We recommend that you book your hotel accommodations ASAP. As June is a busy vacation season for the Charleston area and we are only holding a limited amount of rooms.
